The Vipava Valley offers the perfect conditions for paragliding and hang-gliding. Looking down on the Vipava Valley from up high in the air is a magical and unforgettable experience. If you are not an experienced flier, you can go with a professional in a tandem. A test of bravery is jumping off the bridge into the Soča river. There is also the Soča fun park to enjoy, located right by the river. The adventure begins by crossing the river in a raft, then trying out different climbing and other activities, which all lead up to the grand finale – ziplining down a 300m steel wire, 40m above the river’s surface back the left bank. The steep slopes and rock faces around the Vipava Valley and in the neighbouring gorges are home to some outstanding walls that attract climbers. The mild climate makes it possible to go climbing up the pleasantly warm rock even in winter, while you can exchange these for shady rock walls in the gorges in summer.
